Realme was expected to launch the Realme 6i alongside the Realme C11 on July 14th. However, that did not happen and now the brand has sent out press invites for the launch of its upcoming smartphone. The Realme 6i will be announced on July 24th at 12.30 pm on the company’s Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts.
The Realme 6i will arrive as the successor to the Realme 5i, with upgraded specifications. It will be the third device in the Realme 6 series. The upcoming offering is being teased with the hashtag #ProPerformanceProDisplay and is confirmed to retain the Helio G90T SoC and 90Hz display from the standard Realme 6.

The Realme 6i is the rebranded version of Realme 6s that was launched in Europe in May this year. We expect the specifications of the Indian variant to be the same as its European counterpart. Additionally, the smartphone is also expected to retain most of the features from the standard model. The Realme 6i is confirmed to feature a 90Hz refresh rate screen measuring 6.5-inches with FHD+ display resolution. The device will feature the same design as the Realme 6 series with a punch-hole cutout, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button and a vertically-aligned rear camera module.
In the camera department, the Realme 6i is expected to sport quad-cameras with a downgraded 48MP primary sensor (compared to 64MP on Realme 6 series) paired with 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP portrait and 2MP depth unit.
Under the hood, the Realme 6i will house a MediaTek Helio G90T processor. It is expected to be offered in three RAM and storage configurations up to 8GB + 128GB just like the Realme 6 series. The smartphone will be backed by a 4,300mAh battery unit with support for 30W charging via a USB-C port.
