Recently, we had reported that the Realme 6i could arrive this month. Now, we have learned that the smartphone may debut alongside the Realme C11 tomorrow, according to a Flipkart listing. The Realme 6i briefly appeared on the shopping portal revealing the launch date and also hinting at a sub-Rs 15,000 price tag.
Realme is yet to confirm the Realme 6i’s launch, and it remains to be seen if the device will be announced tomorrow. Flipkart has also taken down the smartphone’s listing. The Realme 6i will be the third device in Realme 6 lineup and the successor to the Realme 5i launched earlier this year.
Realme 6i specifications and features
The Realme 6i is the rebranded Realme 6s that was launched in Europe in May this year. The spec sheet of the Indian variant is expected to remain the same as its European counterpart. Additionally, the upcoming offering is also similar to the Realme 6, apart from a few differences.
The Realme 6i will offer a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate screen. It will feature a punch-hole cutout for accommodating a 16MP selfie snapper. The rear camera module will comprise a 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 2MP portrait and 2MP depth unit. The smartphone is expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.
The Realme 6i will be powered by MediaTek Helio G90 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. We expect the device to be offered in more RAM and storage configurations. The smartphone will run on Realme UI based on Android 10. It will be backed by a 4,300mAh battery unit with support for 30W fast charging. Connectivity options on the device include USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, dual SIM, NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth.
