Realme 6i with Helio G80 and 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging goes official

Realme had launched the Realme 6 (review) and 6 Pro (review) smartphones in India earlier this month. The brand has unveiled a new device in the lineup dubbed as Realme 6i. The latest offering has debuted in Myanmar. The Realme 6i follows the Realme 5i that was launched earlier this year. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications below:

Realme 6i specifications and features

The Realme 6i features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display bearing HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the top. The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the camera setup is located at the top left corner. The smartphone is available in White Milk and Green Tea colour options with vertical running stripes on the back panel.

The Realme 6i sports a quad-camera setup comprising of 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP BnW portrait and a 2MP macro camera. The device features a 16MP front-facing selfie camera. Like most Realme phones, this one too comes with various camera-related features for enhancing the pictures. 

In terms of hardware, the Realme 6i is the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset paired with Mali G52 GPU onboard. The smartphone packs up to 4GB RAM and offers up to 128GB internal storage. The device is backed by a mammoth 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging via a USB-C port. Software-wise, the Realme 6i runs on Android 10-based Realme UI. 

Realme 6i pricing and availability

The base variant i.e 3GB + 64GB of the Realme 6i is priced at KS 249,900 (~Rs 13,100) while the 4GB + 128GB option will retail at KS 2,99,900 (~Rs 15,700). It will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow with sales commencing from March 29th in Myanmar. As of now, there’s no word regarding India launch and availability.
