Realme 7i with 90Hz display and Snapdragon 662 launched: price, specifications

Earlier this month, Realme held an event in India to announce the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro smartphones. Today, the company has announced the Realme 7 in Indonesia alongside the all-new Realme 7i.

The Realme 7i shares several specifications with the Realme 7. It offers a 20:9 aspect ratio display with a high refresh rate. It is equipped with 64-megapixel quad cameras and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Realme 7i has a polycarbonate chassis with a glossy finish. The phone offers a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole cutout at the upper-left corner. The screen supports HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5 percent.

The Snapdragon 662 mobile platform fuels the Realme 7i, alongside 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It runs Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10. There’s a 5,000mAh battery under the hood with support for 18W fast charging.

The Realme 7i features a have Sony IMX471 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear panel houses a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a a 119-degree FoV, a 2-megapixel macro lens with 4cm focal length and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Realme 7i has a conventional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Realme 7i pricing and availability

The Realme 7i is priced at IDR 3,199,000 (~Rs 15,900) in Indonesia and it comes in colours like Polar Blue and Aurora Green. The sales will begin tomorrow in Indonesia. The Realme 7i is expected to debut in the near future in India. At present, there is no official information on its arrival in India.
