In September, Realme announced the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro smartphones in India. The Realme 7i was announced a bit later in Indonesia. Today, the company held a mega event in India to announce several new products including the Realme SLED TV, Realme soundbar, and a host of accessories such as the Buds Wireless Pro, Buds Air Pro, N1 Sonic Toothbrush and more. The event was also used to announce the Realme 7i and Realme 7 Pro Sun Kissed Leather Edition smartphones for the Indian market.

The Realme 7i is a mid-range smartphone positioned lower than the Realme 7. The handset features a high refresh rate display and the latest Snapdragon 600-series chipset. It also sports 64-megapixel quad rear cameras.

The Realme 7iv has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. According to the company, the Realme 7i offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5 percent.
For snapping selfies, the Realme 7i is fitted with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 front camera. The rectangular camera housing on the back panel houses an f/1.8 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field-of-view, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with a 4cm focal length, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and an LED flash. A fingerprint sensor is also placed on the rear panel side of the Realme 7i.
The Snapdragon 662 mobile platform and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM are present under the hood of the Realme 7i. The phone offers users 128GB of UFS 2.1 built-in storage and a microSD card slot.
The phone runs Android 10 coupled with Realme UI 1.0. It is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. On the connectivity front, Realme 7i offers users dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-F 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As far as looks are concerned, it has a polycarbonate rear with a glossy finish and its screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The Realme 7 Pro Sun Kissed Leather Edition is the same device as the Realme 7 Pro with a leather-like material on its rear. The handset features an eco-friendly, durable, and soft vegan micrograin leather on its back in orange and white hues. Since the specs remain unchanged from the standard 7 Pro, the Realme 7 Pro SE has a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED full HD+ display with punch-hole design, an in-screen fingerprint reader, Snapdragon 720G chipset, up 8GB of LPPDR4x RAM, 128GB of native storage, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, a 64-megapixel quad-camera system, and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
Realme 7i and Realme 7 Pro Sun Kissed Leather Edition price in India
The Realme 7i has arrived in India in two variants such as 4GB RAM + 6GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. They are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively. Its colour variants are Fusion Blue and Fusion Green.
The Realme 7 Pro Sun Kissed Leather Edition comes in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants, priced at Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 respectively. Both devices will go on sale starting October 16th on Realme.com, Flipkart and offline stores.
