It seems that Realme will be launching a couple of new smartphones in India in January. Recent reports have revealed that the Realme X7 series and Narzo 30 lineup may go official in India in the coming month. A fresh leak reveals that the Realme 8 series will be also announced in January 2021.
In September, Realme announced the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro smartphones in India. If the new leak turns out to be true, the company will launch its successor in just five months after the arrival of the Realme 7 series.
Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro likely to debut in January
According to a recent tweet by popular tipster Mukul Sharma, Realme will be soon launching the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro smartphones in India. The tipster claimed that the expected launch date for the Realme 8 series is January 2021.
Realme had announced the Realme 6 lineup in March this year. Hence, it appears that the Realme 8 series could be launching two months earlier than the Realme 6 series.
At present, there is no word on the specs of the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro smartphones. Recently, two Realme phones with model numbers such as RMX3171 and RM3092 were spotted in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). It is unclear whether these model numbers belong to the Narzo 30 series or Realme 8 series.
