Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Fire Edition has been launched in Thailand. The special edition device packs the same specifications as its regular version. However, the Garena Free Fire Edition themed device flaunts a gaming-focused design and comes in a custom-made retail box. Some stickers based on in-game elements, a 65W charger, a charging cable, a sim ejector tool, and some documents are also in the box.
The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Edition features a new glass back. The grey-coloured device has “booyah!” text imprinted next to the camera unit. The Realme logo and Free Fire branding can be found towards the bottom of the back panel.

The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Fire Edition has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display punch-hole accommodates a 16-megapixel front camera.
The rear camera unit of the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Fire Edition is equipped with an OIS-ready 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera. It is coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The smartphone runs on the Android 12 OS with the Realme UI 3.0 on top.
The Dimensity 920 chipset powers the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Fire Edition. The device ships with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 60W SuperDart charging. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The handset is equipped with other features, such as a vapour chamber cooling system, dual stereo speakers, and X-axis linear motor.

The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Free Fire Edition is priced at TBH 11,999 (~Rs 27,300). The company is expected to release the device in other markets as well. It is yet to be confirmed whether it will arrive in India.
