The tweet shared by Sheth shows how the heart rate sensor will work on the Realme 9 Pro+. The smartphone will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner that will be used to measure the user’s pulse. Users will then need to open the heart rate measurement tool on the device and keep their finger pressed on the scanner until the reading is complete. The tool has a history tab that shows previously recorded readings.
Apart from the heart rate sensor, the teaser video also reveals a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner of the screen on the Realme 9 Pro+. The presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner also confirms that the upcoming offering will feature an AMOLED display.
Previously, Realme confirmed that the Realme 9 Pro+ will be powered by a Dimensity 920 processor. The smartphone is said to come with an upgraded camera and battery features to enhance the overall smartphone experience.
Leaks and rumours suggest that the Realme 9 Pro+ will come with an FHD+ 90Hz display. It is tipped to feature a GT Neo 2-like camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro unit. The smartphone will pack up to 8GB RAM, 256GB onboard storage and run on a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
