Realme 9i 5G India launch date has been confirmed. At the beginning of this year, Realme unveiled the Snapdragon 680=powered Realme 9i 4G. Now it is all set to unveil its 5G variant. A microsite of the phone is now live on Realme India’s website. GSMArena has shared a poster to reveal its design and key features.

The Realme 9i 5G is likely to be positioned above the Realme 9i 4G, which starts at Rs 13,499 in the country. The poster confirms that the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 810 chip, which also powers the Realme 9 5G and Realme 8s 5G.

The Realme 9i 5G is scheduled to launch at 11:30 am on August 18th, 2022. The above poster shared by the publication shows that it has a flat rear with a Laster Light Design and a protruding triple camera unit. It has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. While it is confirmed to feature the Dimensity 810, there is no word on its other specifications.

Realme 9i 5G price in India

The Realme 9i 5G is likely to be priced between the Realme 9i 4G and the Realme 9 5G, which starts at Rs 15,999. Hence, it is likely to be priced at around Rs 15,000 in the country.

The Realme 9i 4G has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 on top. It has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit.

The Realme 9i 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
