Realme 9i has been launched in Vietnam. It has arrived as the successor to last year’s Realme 8i (review). The latest offering comes with slightly upgraded specifications compared to its predecessor.

Prior to launch, the Realme 9i was subject to a lot of leaks and rumours. The device packs a mid-range Snapdragon 6xx series processor, triple rear cameras, adjustable refresh rate and fast charging support. Read on to know what the Realme 9i offers out of the box.

The Realme 9i has GT Neo 2 like camera module

The Realme 9i comes with a large 6.6-inch IPS LCD display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. It features an adjustable refresh rate up to 90Hz. The smartphone has a Realme GT Neo 2 like rectangular camera module and vertical stripes on the back panel. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. 

The Realme 9i sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP BnW unit. The device has a 16MP front-facing snapper for selfies. 

Internally, the Realme 9i is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. It is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The device features 5GB additional RAM expansion technology. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. 

Connectivity options on the Realme 9i include a USB-C port, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and GPS. 

Realme 9i pricing and availability

The Realme 9i carries a price tag of VND 6,490,000 (~Rs 21,106) in Vietnam. It is offered in Green Quartz and Black colours and the device will be available for purchase from all authorised stores in the country. The Realme 9i’s India launch remains unknown at the moment, however, it is expected to debut later this month.
