Realme 9i specifications have leaked today. Yesterday, reputed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer had teamed up with 91mobiles to share the leaked renders of the Realme 9i. Now, the duo has shared the entire specifications of the phone well ahead of its rumoured global launch in January 2022.

Recent reports have revealed that Realme could be planning to launch Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+ in the beginning of 2022 in India. It may hold a launch event by the end of January 2022 to announce some of the Realme 9 series models, while the remaining phones from the lineup may go official in February 2022.

The Realme 9i  will house a 6.6-inch display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The leaked renders of the Realme 9i have revealed that it will be sporting a punch-hole display. The presence of a side-facing fingerprint scanner indicates that it could be fitted with an LCD panel.

It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 680 chipset that includes Adreno 610 GPU. The device will arrive with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. The device will run on Android 11, which will be customised with Realme UI 2.0.

The Realme 9i will feature a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Its rear camera setup will be headlined by a 50-megapixel camera, which will be coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It is expected to offer other features like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The overall design of the phone looks similar to the Realme GT Neo 2 (review) flagship phone. The vertical stripes available on the back panel not only accentuates the appearance of the device, but also promises better grip. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the device. It will be succeeding the Realme 8i (review), which debuted in September this year.
