Realme Band 2 has been launched in Malaysia. The new fitness tracker has arrived as the successor to original Realme Band (review), which launched in March this year. It will be rivalling the likes of the Xiaomi Band 6, OnePlus Band, Honor Band 6, and more.
As compared to the original Realme Band, its successor offers improved features such as a larger display, a bigger battery, better connectivity, and interchangeable straps. The older model came with direct USB functionality, but the Band 2 can be powered up using a magnetic charger.
Realme Band 2 specifications and features
The Realme Band 2 has a 1.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen colour display, which offers 167 x 320 pixels resolution and 500 nits of brightness. As far as customisation is concerned, users can choose from over 50 dial faces and removable straps like black, blue, and green.
The health-tracking features offered by the Realme Band 2 include a power-efficient GH3011 heart-rate sensor, SpO2 blood oxygen monitor, sleep tracker, and 90 sports modes. The other fitness tracking features offered by the Realme Band 2 include calorie counter, distance tracker, water reminder, sedentary reminder, women’s health tracking, stress management, and activity records. The fitness band offers 50ATM water resistance for swim tracking.
The Realme Band 2 supports Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and works with devices running on Android 5.1+ and iOS 11+. It is packed with a 240mAh battery that promises 12 days of battery life. It can be charged by using a magnetic charger. It also offers other features like music control, camera control, IoT devices control, and call/message notifications.
