Realme Book to launch in China next week, could coincide with India launch

Realme Book will launch in China on August 18th at 3pm local time (12.30pm IST). The brand shared an announcement poster on its official Weibo handle. It also gives us a look at the upcoming laptop. Realme has been teasing its first laptop for the last few months.

Although the launch of the Realme Book in China has been confirmed, the brand is yet to reveal the launch date in India. Recently, the company teased the arrival of its first laptop alongside the launch of the Realme GT smartphones that are set to debut on August 18th. This is the same date as the Realme Book China launch.

The Realme Book borrows design cues from Apple’s MacBook Air

Realme has already revealed a few key specifications of the Realme Book. It will be powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor. The laptop will be offered in Blue and Grey colour options with a 180-degree hinge mechanism. As per reports, the Realme Book is expected to feature an Apple MacBook Air-like design with metallic chassis and a backlit keyboard. 

The Realme Book will reportedly come with a 14-inch LCD display bearing an FHD resolution and slim bezels. The laptop will come pre-installed with Windows 10 OS and will receive the Windows 11 upgrade once it is rolled out. 

As per the rumour mill, the Realme Book will reportedly come in multiple RAM and storage configurations. It is expected to be powered by a 54Wh battery cell with support for 65W fast charging. The laptop is also tipped to feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. In terms of connectivity, the Realme Book is said to include two USB-C ports, a USB-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
