Realme Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro launched in India: price, specifications

At its AIoT event held today, Realme launched a slew of products in India. The brand has expanded its range of audio products by announcing the Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro earphones.

As the names suggest, the Realme Buds Air Pro comes with upgrades over its predecessors, the Buds Air and Buds Air Neo. On the other hand, the neckband-style Buds Wireless Pro is the successor to last year’s Buds Wireless. Let’s take a look at the devices below. 

Realme Buds Air Pro specifications and features

The Realme Buds Air Pro feature ANC up to 35dB

The latest Realme Buds Air Pro retain the stem-like design from its predecessors, with a few changes. The earphones can control music playback, calls and trigger a voice assistant by tapping on the earbud. The Buds Air Pro carries IPX4 water-resistant rating. 

On the audio front, the Buds Air Pro come with active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 35dB. Realme says that the wireless earphones offer 8x lesser surrounding noise. There is a transparency mode that allows users to be aware of their surroundings without taking off the buds. The Buds Air Pro are equipped with a 10mm bass boost driver. It features super-low latency of 94ms reducing the delay between the transmission of the audio signal and when the user hears it. The wireless earphones feature Bluetooth 5.0 support. 

The Realme Buds Air Pro are capable of delivering 25 hours of playback time on a single charge and a 20-hour battery life with ANC enabled. A 10-minute charge is claimed to offer 3 hours of playback time and it takes 1 hour to charge the earphones to 100 percent via the provided charging case. 

Realme Buds Wireless Pro specifications and features

The Realme Buds Wireless Pro retain the neckband-style design

The Realme Buds Wireless Pro retains the same neckband style design from its predecessor. The earphones come with self-attaching magnetic ear tips. There is an in-line remote with three buttons, a microphone and charging port. 

The Buds Wireless Pro also offer ANC up to 35dB. They are equipped with a 13.6mm sound driver. The audio device comes with Sony LDAC Hi-Res audio for lossless sound quality. The audio coding technology allows streaming high-res audio over Bluetooth 5.0 at up to 990kbps. 

The Buds Wireless Pro is claimed to offer 22 hours of playback and 16 hours with ANC feature. A 5-minute charge is said to provide 100 minutes of playback time and it takes 1.5 hours to fully charge the device.

Realme Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro price in India

The Realme Buds Air Pro are priced at Rs 4,999. The neckband styled Buds Wireless Pro carry a price tag of Rs 3,999. The former is offered in Rock Black and Solid White colour while the latter comes in Disco Green and Party Yellow colours. 

The Buds Air Pro will be available for purchase on Flipkart while the Buds Wireless Pro will go on sale on Amazon. Both devices will also be available on realme.com starting October 16th and soon in offline stores. As part of the first sale, the Buds Air Pro will be available for Rs 4,499 while the Buds Wireless Pro will cost Rs 3,999.
