Realme Buds Q TWS earbuds launched in India: price, specifications

Realme has launched a couple of wireless earphones in India including the Realme Buds Air Neo and its predecessor, the Realme Buds Air. However, both these earphones featured a stem design like the Apple AirPods. The company has now launched the Realme Buds Q, which features an in-ear buds design.

At an online-exclusive event held today for the launch of the Realme X3 series, the brand officially launched the Realme Buds Q for the Indian market. The buds are designed by French artist José Lévy, and are affordably priced to take on the Redmi Earbuds S.

The Realme Buds Q are equipped with large 10mm Dynamic Bass Boost drivers to enhance the bass. Powering the earbuds is the R1Q True Wireless chip, which is designed to provide a stable connection between the smartphone and earbuds. The Realme Buds Q offers a gaming mode with a low latency of 119ms.

The R1Q chip also facilitates instant pairing, which lets your smartphone detect the Buds Q as soon as the charging case is opened and pair instantly. The Realme Buds Q have touch controls on each bud to answer/end calls, switch music, and activate the gaming mode. The Realme Buds Q can be connected via the Realme Link app, which allows users to customise the touch control options and more.

As for the battery, the Realme Buds Q can last up to 4.5 hours on a single charge and 20 hours with the charging case. The case can be charged using the micro-USB port. Speaking of the connectivity, the Realme Buds Q uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to the smartphone and has a range of 10 meters.

Realme Buds Q feature IPX4 rating for water-resistance and are protected against splashes, rain, and sweat. Each earbud weighs just 3.6g. The Realme Buds Q have a frosted finish on them and are being offered in three colours – Quite Yellow, Quite White and Black.

The Realme Buds Q have been priced at Rs 1,999 and will be up for grabs on and Amazon starting July 1st. The company has also announced that the Buds Q will be made available in offline stores soon.
