Realme Buds Q2 have launched in India today. They have arrived alongside the Narzo 30 smartphone and a new Realme smart TV. The TWS earphones are the successor to last year’s Buds Q (review).
The Realme Buds Q2 had launched in Pakistan in April this year and the Indian variant comes with slightly different specs and features. The latest offering is priced in the sub-Rs 3,000 price bracket and competes against the likes of OnePlus Buds Z (review) and more in the market.
Realme Buds Q2 specifications and features
The Realme Buds Q2 come with the same lightweight in-ear design as the original Buds Q. However, the touchpad features ‘gleaming lamination technology’ that reflects various colours in different angles. Users can control various earbud settings with a light tap. The TWS earphones are IPX5 certified dust and water-resistant.
The Realme Buds Q2 feature 10mm Bass Boost drivers. They feature active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 25dB, that is claimed to eliminate the noise of home appliances, airplanes, subways, and other transportation modes. There is also environmental noise cancellation (ENC) that reduces surrounding noise during calls. The earphones feature a transparency mode that lets the user talk to others without taking off the earbuds. The Buds Q2 offer a low latency mode of 88ms.
The Realme Buds Q2 is claimed to offer 28 hours of usage without ANC and 20 hours with the feature enabled. The earphones support fast charging via a USB-C port on the case. The TWS earphones come with Bluetooth 5.0 and Google Fast Pair support that automatically connects to the user’s phone once the charging case is opened.

The Realme Buds Q2 is offered are Active Black and Calm Grey colours. The TWS earphones carry a price tag of Rs 2,499 and will be available for purchase on Amazon, Realme.com from June 30th, 12pm.
