Realme C1 (2019) Launched in India, prices start at Rs 7,499

The entry-level Realme C1 smartphone was introduced last September along with the Realme 2 Pro smartphone. The Realme C1 that boasts an impressive screen space through its notched screen and has a big-sized battery is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. Realme has now introduced an upgraded version of the Realme C1 today. The newly introduced Realme C1 (2019) comes in two editions of 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage.

The base model of the Realme C1 2019 come with a price tag of Rs 7,499. The higher-end version is priced at Rs 8,499. The first sale of the smartphone will be carried out February 1st  at 12pm on Flipkart and Realme’s online store. The company will be making these models for purchase through offline stores very soon.

The existing Realme C1 model with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage is still listed on the website with a Rs 7,499 price tag. There is no confirmation on whether the Realme C1 2019 launch would result in a price cut or phasing out of the 16GB model.

The Realme C1 (2019) comes with a 6.2-inch notched screen with HD+ resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels. The 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 chipset powers the smartphone. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS overlaid with ColorOS 5.2 UI. The phone comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The back panel of the Realme C1 features 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. It has a front-facing 5-megapixel camera. The handset is packed with a 4,230mAh battery. It is available in Ocean Blue and Mirror Black colour variants.
