In June, Realme announced the Realme C11 budget-friendly phone in multiple markets including India. The company unveiled the Realme C15 last month in Indonesia. Fresh information reveals that the Realme C12 could be debuting as the third C-series phone of the year.
Thailand’s NBTC certification has revealed that a new Realme phone with model number RMX2189 has the Realme C12 moniker. The name of the device suggests it could be positioned between the Realme C11 and Realme C15.
Realme C12 gets certified by multiple authorities
Apart from NBTC certification, two Indonesia authorities – TKDN and SDPPI – as well as the China Quality Certification (CQC) regulatory body have also approved the Realme C12. The Chinese certification has revealed that the device is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and is likely to support 10W charging. Hence, it appears that the Realme C12 may not support 18W fast charging like the Realme C15.
The Realme C12 could borrow specs from Realme C11 and Realme C15. Hence, it is likely to come with an HD+ resolution display and a waterdrop notch. TKDN has revealed that the phone runs Android 10. The Helio G35 chipset fuels the Realme C11 and C15. Hence, it remains to be seen whether the C12 will also feature the same chipset. Since the Realme C12 has received multiple certifications, its launch may not be far away.
There is no word on whether the Realme C12 will brought to India. However, we do know that the Realme C15 could be launching in India soon, as it has been listed on Realme India’s support page.
