Realme is set to launch two C-series smartphones, the Realme C12 and C15 in India on August 18th. The Realme C15 had debuted in Indonesia last month, while a few key specifications of the Realme C12 had been revealed. Now, the smartphone maker has launched the Realme C12 in Indonesia ahead of its India launch, revealing its complete specifications.
The Realme C12 packs upgraded specifications compared to the C11. The latest offering is positioned between the Realme C11 and C15. However, all three devices feature the Helio G35 chipset and a square-shaped rear camera module. Let’s take a look at the Realme C12 below.
Realme C12 specifications and features
The Realme C12 sports a 6.5-inch display bearing HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which was missing on the C11. It also supports face unlock recognition. The Realme C12 features a geometric gradient design on the back.
In terms of optics, the Realme C12 comes with a triple camera setup comprising of 13MP primary shooter, 2MP black and white lens and a 2MP macro unit. The front camera resolution is not known at the moment. The device offers various camera features like chroma boost, super nightscape, 1080p and slow-mo video recording.
On the hardware front, the Realme C12 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 gaming processor. It packs 3GB RAM and offers 32GB internal storage. The smartphone draws its power from a mammoth 6,000mAh battery unit with support for reverse charging.
Realme C12 pricing and availability
The Realme C12 carries a price tag of Rp 1,899,000 (~Rs 9,598) in Indonesia. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the country starting August 15th. We expect the Indian variant to come with the same specifications but a lower price tag. It is being offered in Coral Red and Marine Blue colour options.
