Realme C12 and Realme C15 with Helio G35 and 6,000mAh batteries launched in India: price, specifications

Realme unveiled the Realme C11 entry-level phone in India last month. Priced at Rs 7,499, the Realme C11 (review) offers users features like a 6.5-inch display, dual cameras, Helio G35, and 5,000mAh battery. Today, the company unveiled two new Realme C-series phones, the Realme C12 and Realme C15 in India.

The Realme C12 and C15 share a similar design and specs, but the major selling of the latter is that it is the first C-series phone to support fast charging. These phones also equipped with tall aspect ratio displays, the Helio G35 chipset and 6,000mAh batteries.

The Realme C15 and Realme C12 have several features in common

The Realme C12 and Realme C15 feature a polycarbonate rear panel. They house 6.5-inch LCD displays with a waterdrop notch. Both phones feature HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Realme claims that these phones offer an 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The gaming-focused budget Helio G35 chipset  is at the helm of Realme C12 and Realme C15 phones along with LPDDR4x RAM. These phones offer up to 64GB of storage and they come with dedicated microSD card slots for expansion.

The phones run Android 10 with Realme UI on top. The Realme C12 has a 5-megapixel front camera, whereas the Realme C15 features an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The Realme C12 has a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel B&W lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with 4cm focal length. On the other hand, the Realme C15 features a quad camera setup comprising a 13-megapixel primary snapper with f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field-of-view, a 2-megapixel B&W lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with 4cm focal length.

Both phones come with photography features like LED flash, PDAF, HDR, Chroma Boost, slow-motion video shooting, and 30fps 1080p video recording.

The Realme C12 has a 6,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The Realme C15 also features the same-sized battery along with the faster 18W charging technology. Both phones also support reverse charging. Other features that are available on the C12 and C15 include rear-mounted fingerprint scannes, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme C12 and Realme C15 price in India

The Realme C12 comes in a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and is priced at Rs 8,999. The Realme C15 comes in two variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. Both are priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively. The Realme C12 and C15 can be bought in colours like Power Blue and Power Silver. The first sale of the Realme C12 and C15 will be carried out at 12pm on August 24th and August 27th, respectively through Flipkart and Realme India’s website.
