Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition offers a Snapdragon 460 SoC and 6,000mAh battery for under Rs 10,000

Realme launched its first C-series smartphone with fast charging support called the Realme C15 in India earlier this year. The smartphone featured 6.5-inch LCD display, gaming-focused budget Helio G35 chipset, 13-megapixel quad rear cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery as its highlights. Now, the brand has launched the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition in the country.

As the name suggests, the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition comes with a Snapdragon processor ticking at its core. All other specifications, variants and even the price of the new launch are identical to the standard Realme C15. The smartphone maker is also offering the new phone in the same Power Blue and Power Silver colours as well.

The main differentiator of the new Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition is the 11nm octa-core Snapdragon 460 processor accompanied by Adreno 610 GPU ticking at its core. The brand is offering the handset in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants. There’s a third variant with 128GB storage mentioned on the specs page of the official website but there are no details on price, which means the brand could launch it on a later date. Out of the box the phone boots Android 10-based Realme UI.

Coming to the display, the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition ships with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a 1,600 x 720 pixels resolution. The waterdrop notch screen features 480nits peak brightness in standard mode, 600nits peak brightness in sunlight mode, and 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition features a 13-megapixel f/2.2 primary camera with PDAF and 5P lens. The main camera is backed by an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with 119-degree field of view, 2-megapixel black and white sensor, and a 2-megapixel retro camera. In the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with AI features.

Lastly, the smartphone is powered by the same massive 6,000mAh battery as the standard model. The battery comes with support for reverse charging and 18W fast charging. There’s a capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back for security.

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition price in India

The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition has been priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999 for the 3GB and 4GB variants, respectively. However, as part of the introductory festive offer, the 3GB variant will retail at Rs 9,499 and 4GB model will sell for Rs 10,499 for a limited duration. The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition will go on sale for the first time on October 29th at 12pm on Flipkart and realme.com.
