Realme C17 with 90Hz display, 5,000mAh battery launching on September 21st

Realme has confirmed that it will be launching the Narzo 20 series in India on September 21st. Fresh information reveals that the Bangladesh division of the company will be holding a virtual launch event on the same date at 12pm (11.30am IST) to announce the Realme C17. The moniker of the phone suggests that it will be positioned above the Realme C15 that went official last month.

The Realme C17 will be sporting a punch-hole display and quad rear cameras. One of the major highlights of the budget-friendly smartphone is that will feature a 90Hz screen. As is usual for the Realme C-series, it will be powered by a big battery.

Realme C17 is scheduled to debut on September 21st in Bangladesh

Tipster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings has posted several marketing images, revealing most details about the Realme C17. The phone has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 460 chipset, accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

The Realme C17 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel houses a 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with 119-degree FOV, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with a focal length of 4cm ans a 2-megapixel B&W portrait lens.

The Realme C17 will be fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging through USB-C. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset will run Realme UI based on Android 10. The handset will arrive in colours like Navy Blue and Lake Green.

Realme C17 pricing and availability

The rumour mill is yet to spill any information the pricing of the Realme C17. The handset has bagged approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which indicates that it will be also launching in India soon. Since the Realme C15’s top-end variant is priced at Rs 10,999, it can be speculated that the C17 could be priced below Rs 15,000.
