Realme has launched the Realme C20 as the first C-series phone of 2021. Launched in Vietnam, the C20 has arrived as one of the cheapest phones from the brand. The Realme C20 flaunts an HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a square-shaped camera module on its back.
The design of the C20 is identical to C-series handsets like the Realme C11 (review), Realme C12 (review), and Realme C15 that went official last year. With a huge battery onboard, the C20 promises a long-lasting battery life.
Realme C20 specifications and features
The Realme C20 has a 6.5-inch LCD screen that offers 720 x 1,600 pixels resolution, 270ppi pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass protection, but its exact version is not known. The phone runs on Android 10 (Go edition) OS.
Under the hood, the Realme C20 gets MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, which also drives other phones like the Realme C11, C12, and C15. The entry-level device comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. For additional storage, the device features a microSD card slot.
The rear-positioned camera housing has a single camera of 8-megapixel along with an LED flash. It offers photography features such as AI beautification, autofocus, backlit HDR, night photography, background correction, and 1080p video recording. The display notch serves as a home for its 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
The C20 has a 5,000mAh battery that carries support for 10W charging. The device is packed with usual connectivity features like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It lacks a fingerprint scanner.
Realme C20 pricing and availability
The Realme C20 has arrived in Vietnam with a price tag of VND 2,690,000 (~Rs 8,600). It comes in two colours such as Black and Blue. There is no word on whether this device will be arriving in India.
