The Realme C21Y has been launched in India. As the name suggests, it is a new variant of the Realme C21 that debuted in April this year. The C21Y is the company’s first smartphone to feature a Unisoc processor.

The Realme C21Y debuted first in Vietnam in July and now it has landed in India. In terms of specs and design, it almost identical to the existing C21. It offers a HD+ display, 13-megapixel triple camera system, and a massive battery. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and pricing of the Realme C21Y.

The first sale of the Realme C21Y is scheduled to take place at 12 pm on August 30th. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Realme India.

The Realme C21Y runs on Android Go 11 edition

The Realme C21Y has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The waterdrop notch display offers an 89.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. Instead of the Helio G35 that fuelled the C21, the C21Y features the Unisoc T610 chipset.

The device offers up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It comes with up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The phone ships with Realme UI based on Android 11 (Go edition). For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot.

The C21Y has a 5MP front camera. The squarish camera module on its back has a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel macro camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The C21Y offers photography features like Chroma Boost, super nightscape, slow-motion video shooting, and 1080p video recording. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock support.

The device houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The company claims that the phone can offer 2.33 hours of standby time, 2.37 hours of calling time, and 1.45 hours of video playback on YouTube. It’s packed with usual connectivity features such as dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, GPS, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
