On: January 31, 2020

A new Realme phone with model number RMX2027 has popped up on Geekbench. Unfortunately, the Geekbench listing does not reveal the name of the device. Recently, the Realme RMX2020 was approved as the Realme C3 by Thailand’s NBTC body. The RMX2027 could be a variant of the RMX2020. The RMX2027 has been recently spotted on some other certification platforms like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India and Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia. So, there is a possibility that the RMX2027 may end up as the Realme C3 which scheduled to go official in India on February 6th.

The RMX2027 has scored 347 in the Geekbench 5’s single-core test. It has recorded a score of 1,253 in the multi-core test. The processor that powers the device is mentioned as MT6769 on Geekbench. The SoC is coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 10.

Purported Realme C3 spotted on Geekbench

Realme has already confirmed that it will be launching the Realme C3 smartphone in India on February 6. The company also revealed that the device will be equipped with the Helio G70 chipset. It will be arriving as the first phone powered by the new G-series SoC from MediaTek. Hence, there is a possibility that the RMX2027 could be the Realme C3 phone. It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm on it.

Realme C3 specifications

There is a landing page for the Realme C3 phone on Flipkart. It states that the phone will be hitting the Indian markets in two variants such as 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The pricing of these models is currently under wraps. The Realme C3 will be arriving as the successor to the Realme C2 phone from last year.

The Realme C3 has a 6.5-inch display that features a teardrop notch. It may carry support for HD+ resolution. The phone is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery. It does not seem to feature a fingerprint reader. The Realme C3 sports a dual camera system on its back which includes a 12-megapixel main sensor.
