Earlier this month, Realme refreshed its Realme 5 series of smartphones in India by launching the Realme 5i. Now, the company is all set to expand its range of Realme C series devices in the country by launching the Realme C3. While the brand hasn’t announced the exact launch date for the phone, it has teased that a new C series handset could be launched in the country soon. The brand’s CEO Madhav Sheth took Twitter to tease the launch, and also mentioned that the Realme C series has 10.2 million users worldwide. Ahead of the launch, the Realme C3 was recently certified by Thailand’s regulatory authority NBTC. Now, a couple of specifications of the Realme C3 have been leaked by 91mobiles.
Realme C3 specifications and features
According to 91mobiles, the Realme C3 will be powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery. It will be 20 percent bigger than the one found on the predecessor, the Realme C2. Just like the Realme C2, the Realme C3 will also come with a dual primary camera setup on the back. The source also suggests that just like the previous Realme C series offering, the upcoming offering will also be powered by one of the chipsets from MediaTek.
Other details regarding the Realme C3’s specifications are not available at the moment. However, we can expect the phone to offer a high screen to body ratio, minimal bezels, a waterdrop notch above the screen, Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 7, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the Realme C2, the phone features a 6.1-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor, which is aided by up to 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of native storage. The other highlights of the device include a dual 13MP + 2MP primary camera setup on the back, a 5MP selfie shooter, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Realme C2 is available in India at a starting price of Rs 5,999. We expect the Realme C3 to also be an affordable offering like its predecessor.
