Realme C3 with Helio G70 and 5,000mAh battery launched in India, pricing starts at Rs 6,999

Smartphone maker Realme has expanded its range of entry-level C-series smartphones in India by launching the Realme C3 in the country. The phone has arrived as the successor to the Realme C2, which was launched in India in April last year. The Realme C3 has been launched as the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek G70 processor. The chipset offers a clock speed of 2.0GHz and is manufactured utilising the 12nm fabrication process. The Realme C3 is among one of the first smartphones from the brand to boot Android 10 out of the box with Realme UI on top.

Realme C3 specifications and features

The Realme C3 sports a 6.52-inch capacitive In-Cell display bearing a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.9 percent. The phone comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. For security, the handset doesn’t offer a fingerprint sensor, and instead relies on face unlock functionality. The MediaTek G70 chipset onboard the phone is accompanied by the Mali G52 graphics processor.

At the rear, the Realme C3 has a 12MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, which is aided by a 2MP secondary snapper with an aperture of f/2.4. The main camera offers PDAF (phase detection autofocus), while the portrait secondary lens is fixed focus. For selfies and video-calling, the handset has a 5MP shooter that’s housed inside the waterdrop notch above the screen. The connectivity features of the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS with GLONASS. A massive 5,000mAh battery completes the list of the specifications of the device.

Realme C3 price in India

The Realme C3’s base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage has been priced at Rs 6,999, while the higher-end model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is being offered for Rs 7,999. The phone will be available on Flipkart, Realme’s website, and in offline stores starting from February 14th.
