Just yesterday, Realme announced that it will be introducing its latest Realme C series smartphone in India on February 6th. Called the Realme C3, the phone has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Now, just a few days ahead of the launch, the Realme C3’s core specifications have been revealed by the brand’s e-commerce partner, Flipkart. The e-tailer has revealed details regarding the Realme C3’s display, RAM and storage variants, and camera features. The listing on Flipkart suggests that the next-gen Realme C series offering will have a different design and upgraded specs than the last year’s Realme C2.
Realme C3 specifications and features
As per the listing on Flipkart, the Realme C3 will feature a 6.5-inch display with a waterdrop notch above it. The phone will feature a screen-to-body ratio of 89.8 percent and a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass on top, but there’s no word on which generation of the Gorilla Glass. The handset will come in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The device will come with a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 12MP primary lens with an aperture of f/1.9.
Lastly, Flipkart has revealed that the Realme C3 will be backed by a beefy 5,000mAh battery. The power cell is claimed to provide 30 days of standby time, up to 44 hours of calling time, 19.4 hours of music playback, 20.8 hours of YouTube streaming, and up to 10.6 hours of continuous PUBG gaming.
Realme had already released the press render of the Realme C3 yesterday. So design-wise, the phone will feature minimal bezels on the sides and top, and a tad-thick chin. The device will offer a unibody design, possibly made from polycarbonate material. The primary camera module of the device will be placed vertically on the top-left corner. While it’s not visible in the render, the phone is expected to offer a fingerprint sensor on the back in the middle.
Realme C3 price in India
Realme or Flipkart have not revealed anything about the pricing of the Realme C3 at the moment. However, going by the specs, we can safely speculate it to be a sub-Rs 8,000 – Rs 10,000 offering. The phone’s predecessor, the Realme C2, is currently being offered in the country at the starting price of Rs 5,999.
