Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC; spotted on Geekbench

Realme will soon expand its GT 2 series. The company has revealed that the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition, the third smartphone in the GT 2 series after the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro, will be released soon. The GT 2 Explorer Master Edition variant’s actual release date is currently unknown. Xu Qi, the company’s President of Global Marketing, revealed that the device could be released in July 2022.

The smartphone has now been spotted on GeekBench, revealing some of its specifications. So take a peek.

Geekbench lists the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition

The device was discovered with the model number RMX3551 on the famous benchmarking platform. According to GeekBench, the smartphone achieved 1296 points on single-core tests and 4211 points on multi-core tests. The examination also revealed that the smartphone ships with Realme UI 3.0 on top of Android 12 OS and up to 12GB of RAM, but the company will most likely offer other storage options.

Apart from that, the flagship smartphone from Realme is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is almost 10% faster than its predecessor. According to previous reports, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition features a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a massive 5,000mAh battery pack that allows over 100W fast charging.

On the rear, there will be a triple-camera configuration with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it will get a 16MP selfie camera.
