Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition will be launched at 2 PM (local time) on July 12th, 2022, in China. It is a new member of the Realme GT 2 series, which already includes other flagship smartphones, such as the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro. All the previously released “Master” branded Realme phones have sported a special design. Today, the company released the first image of the GT 2 Master Explorer to give a good look at its rear design.
The image shown below shows that the GT 2 Master Explorer edition has smooth leather on its back and a hard metal casing with rivets around the edges. A triple camera unit can be seen on the front side of the device. Its display has a centrally positioned punch-hole. The handset was certified by the TENAA authority in China last month. The certification revealed all the major specs of the phone.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is expected to arrive with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will boot into the Realme UI 3.0-based Android 12 OS.
When it comes to optics, the GT 2 ME’s rear camera will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The GT 2 Master Explorer will be Realme’s first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will come equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery, which is likely to carry support for 100W rapid charging. From the above-shown colour variant, it is expected to arrive in white and green shades.
