Realme GT 2 Pro India launch date has been confirmed. Realme has confirmed it will launch the flagship Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone in India at 12:30 pm on April 7th, 2022. The premium flagship phone from the brand offers exciting specs like an AMOLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate support, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and 50-megapixel triple cameras.

To recall, the GT 2 Pro flagship was unveiled along with the Snapdragon 888-powered Realme GT 2 in China in January this year. The Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro were announced for the global market at the end of February. It isn’t clear if the vanilla GT 2 will also debut in India with the Pro model.

The Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ screen that uses LTPO 2.0 technology. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits of peak brightness. The screen comes with other features such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is present under the hood of the GT 2 Pro. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart charging.
For selfies, the GT 2 Pro is equipped with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front camera. Its rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 150-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel micro-lens with support for up to 40x magnification.
Recent reports have revealed that the smartphone will come in two configurations, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage in India. The handset is expected to arrive in three colours, such as Paper Black, Paper White, and Paper Green.
