Realme GT 2 Pro India launch has been teased. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has shared an image of the device in his latest tweet. The GT 2 Pro was announced along with the Snapdragon 888 powered Realme GT 2 back in December 2020. A slew of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered devices are expected to release in India soon. The Galaxy S22 series with SD8G1 will go on sale in March. The iQOO 9 Pro 5G featuring the same chip is expected to launch soon in India. It appears that it may not take too long for the Realme GT 2 Pro with SD8G1 onboard to hit the Indian market.

Sheth tweeted the above image and said that the “Realme GT 2 Pro will feature the best flat display among all Android phones soon.” It is likely that the Realme GT 2 Pro launch date for India will be confirmed in the next few days. Probably, it will go official by the end of this month or in early March in the country. The specifications of the Realme GT 2 Pro are no secret since it is likely to be the same device that went official in China last month.

Realme GT 2 Pro specifications (expected)

The Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display. The punch-hole panel offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Rumours have it that the iQOO 9 Pro 5G coming to India will support FHD+ instead of QHD+ resolution. It remains to be seen whether the GT 2 Pro carries support for QHD+ or FHD+ resolution. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The rear camera unit of the Realme GT 2 Pro includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultrawide snapper with a 150-degree FOV, and a 3-megapixel autofocus-enabled microscope camera with 40x magnification. It runs on Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with Realme UI 3.0.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered Realme GT 2 Pro may ship in India with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It offers other features like an in-screen fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
