Realme GT 2 Pro announcement is happening in China on December 9th i.e. tomorrow. The company took to microblogging platform Weibo to confirm the launch of its next flagship. However, the poster doesn’t reveal if the brand will unveil the GT 2 Pro, and instead, it may announce the launch date.
Last week, Realme VP Madhav Sheth tweeted that the Realme GT 2 Pro could debut this month. Smartphone brands including Motorola, Realme, Xiaomi are competing with each other to be crowned as the first brand to launch a smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Realme GT 2 Pro announcement set for tomorrow
The Realme GT 2 Pro is already confirmed to come with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. At tomorrow’s announcement, the brand may reveal some of the features and details of the GT 2 Pro smartphone. Realme’s announcement is also coinciding with Motorola’s Moto Edge X30 launch in China. The latter is winning the race in launching the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone.
It’s likely that Realme’s announcement tomorrow is to steal some limelight from Motorola. The GT 2 Pro will debut as the successor to the original Realme GT and the upcoming offering is touted to be the brand’s ‘first-ever ultra-premium flagship’.
