Realme GT 2 Pro is reportedly in development. 91Mobiles has learned from tipster Mukul Sharma that the smartphone’s product testing has begun. The device is also tipped to launch in early 2022 if everything goes according to the plan.
Earlier this month, the Realme GT 2 Pro’s moniker was confirmed via IMEI listing with model number RMX3301. It also appeared on the company’s official website. The Realme GT 2 Pro will debut as the successor to the first-gen Realme GT (review).
Realme GT 2 Pro is reportedly in the works
As per 91Mobiles, the Realme GT 2 Pro’s exact launch timeline has not been revealed. Since the smartphone’s product testing has begun, it is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2022.
As per Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to come with a 6.51-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The device could feature a high refresh rate and 404 ppi pixel density. On the optics front, the Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to sport triple rear cameras although the exact setup remains unclear at the moment.
Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Pro is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship Snapdragon 898 processor. It could pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 65W fast charging. The Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to run on Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 on the top.
The Realme GT 2 Pro will reportedly carry a price tag of RMB 4,000 (~Rs 46,000).
