Realme GT 5G Flipkart availability confirmed before August 18th launch

The Realme GT 5G’s India launch is drawing near. Recently, the company confirmed that it will be announcing the Realme GT 5G as well as the Realme GT Master Edition on August 18th in the country. A landing page of the GT lineup has appeared on Flipkart today. It indicates that the GT and GT Master Edition phones will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart.

The Realme GT’s Flipkart landing page has no information on its specifications. It appears that the company will be teasing the features of the Realme GT series on a daily basis on the retailer site before its official announcement.

It was recently confirmed by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth that Realme will be announcing the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition smartphones on August 18th. It is speculated that the company may also unveil the Realme Book, which is the first notebook from the brand.

The Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition are both fitted with a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that delivers an FHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones have an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. These phones are powered by a 4,300mAh and a 4,500mAh batteries respectively that supports 65W fast charging.

The Snapdragon 870 along with 12GB of RAM powers the Realme GT 5G, whereas the Snapdragon 778G chip and 8GB of RAM drives the Master Edition. The former features a 16-megapixel selfie camera, whereas the latter has a 32-megapixel front camera. Both phones are equipped with a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra0wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
