Realme GT Master Edition and Realme GT Master Explorer Edition smartphones have been launched in China. Both smartphones are developed in collaboration with Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa.
The Realme GT Master Edition and GT Master Explorer Edition smartphones share an identical design. However, the devices come with a few differences. Notably, the latest offerings are also stripped-down variants of the original Realme GT.
Realme GT Master Edition and GT Master Explorer Edition specifications and features
Both the Realme GT Master Edition and GT Master Explorer Edition sport a suitcase-like design with the back panel featuring 3D vegan leather and horizontal stripes. There is a Realme logo on the right side of the camera module and Fukasawa’s autograph below it.
The Realme GT Master Edition and GT Master Explorer Edition come with a 6.5-inch sAMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The latter also has a curved display.
The Realme GT Master Edition is equipped with a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Master Explorer Edition variant features a 50MP main shooter, 16MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro unit. The device also supports OIS and EIS. Both smartphones come with a 32MP front-facing camera housed inside the punch-hole cutout.
Under the hood, the Realme GT Master Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor while the Master Explorer Edition houses a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Both devices pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The smartphones are also equipped with VC liquid cooling technology. The Realme GT Master Edition smartphones are backed by a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
Realme GT Master Edition and Realme GT Explorer Master Edition pricing and availability
The Realme GT Master Edition is priced at RMB 2,399 (~Rs 27,487) and RMB 2,599 (~Rs 29,778) for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. On the other hand, the Master Explorer Edition carries a price tag of RMB 2,899 (~Rs 33,362) and RMB 3,199 (~Rs 36,689) for the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. Both smartphones are offered in four colours – Suitcase Grey, Suitcase Apricot, Dawn and Snow Mountain. The Realme GT Master Edition will go on sale from today in China.
