Realme GT Neo 2 will launch in India on October 13th at 12.30pm, the brand has confirmed. The GT Neo 2 will be the third GT-branded smartphone to launch in India after the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition phones that debuted in August. The event will be livestreamed on Realme’s YouTube channel and Facebook account.

The specifications of the Realme GT Neo 2 are no secret since it was announced last month in China. The handset will feature a 120Hz AMOLED screen, the Snapdragon 8-series chip, 64-megapixel triple cameras, and a large battery with 65W fast charging.

As per tipster Yogesh Brar, the Realme GT Neo 2’s price will match the launch price of the Dimensity 1200 SoC-powered Realme X7 Max (review) that was announced in May. At launch, the X7 Max was priced at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
According to a recent report by 91mobiles, the GT Neo 2 will be available in two choices such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The publication also revealed that India will receive the smartphone in three colours such as Neo Black, Neo Green, and Neo Blue. It can be said based on Yogesh’s tweet that the base model of the GT Neo 2 may arrive with a sub-Rs 30,000 price tag.

The Realme GT Neo 2 has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel front camera, and its back panel has a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
The Snapdragon 870 chip will be assisted by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage on the device. It is expected to run Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 11. The device will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart charging.
