Realme GT Neo 3 launch date in India announced; will be first with 150W fast charging

Realme GT Neo 3 launch date in India has been announced. The device is set to launch in the country on April 29th at 12:30 pm. The event will be live streamed on the brand’s YouTube channel and social media handles.

The Realme GT Neo 3 will arrive as the successor to last year’s Realme GT Neo 2. The upcoming smartphone debuted in China last month and the Indian variant is expected to come with the same specifications. 

Realme GT Neo 3 India launch confirmed

The tweet shared by Realme reveals the design of the upcoming GT Neo 3. It looks similar to the Chinese variant. It will feature a rectangular camera module and two vertical running stripes below it. The upcoming offering is touted to be the world’s first smartphone with support for 150W charging speed. The technology is claimed to top up 50 percent of the battery in just 5 minutes. However, it’s unclear whether Realme will launch the GT Neo 3 in variants differing in battery capacity and charging speed in India. 

Realme GT Neo 3 specifications and features 

In China, the Realme GT Neo 3 comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The device has a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper whereas, on the back, it features a triple camera setup of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. 

The Realme GT Neo 3 will be powered by a Dimensity 8100 processor coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is offered in two variants – one is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with 80W charging and the other is fuelled by a 5,000mAh cell with 150W fast charging.
