Realme GT Neo 5 specifications leaked, reveals 144Hz AMOLED display, up to 240W charging

Realme GT Neo 5 specifications have been leaked by tipster Digital Chat Station. The device will succeed the Realme GT Neo 3, which debuted in Q2 this year. At present, there is no word on the launch date of the device. However, it appears that it could be one of the first phones to debut in 2023.

The Realme GT Neo 3 came in two battery variants, and it supported up to 150W fast charging. The successor model is also expected to arrive in two battery variants, and it is expected to support up to 240W charging. Also, the GT Neo 5 is likely to have improvements in areas like the screen and the chipset.

The latest leak on the Realme GT Neo 5 reveals that it will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution of 1,240 x 2,772 pixels instead of 1080 x 2400 pixels, which was seen on the GT Neo 3. The GT Neo 5’s screen is also expected to support a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It is expected to come preloaded with the Realme UI 4.0-based Android 13 OS.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip will power the Realme GT Neo 5. Its 5,000mAh battery variant is likely to support 150W charging, whereas its 4,600mAh battery variant may offer 240W charging.

The GT Neo 5’s rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support. The leak also says that the device will have a fingerprint scanner built into the screen, a plastic frame, and RGB lights. Shown above is the leaked render of the GT Neo 5.

Other reports have claimed that the Realme GT Neo 5 will have a 16-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup may include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It will likely arrive with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
