Realme GT Neo launch date announced, could land in India soon

Realme GT Neo will launch on March 31st in its home country China. The brand announced the news on its official Weibo handle. To recall, Realme had unveiled its first Snapdragon 888 powered phone, Realme GT earlier this month in China. At the launch event, the company had teased the GT Neo variant.

The upcoming Realme GT Neo is expected to be a stripped-down variant of the Realme GT. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset with 5G connectivity.

Separately, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth teased the arrival of a Realme flagship phone with the Dimensity 1200 5G processor. Based on the tweet, we can expect the Realme GT Neo to launch in India.

A Realme smartphone with model number RMX3116 was spotted on TENAA recently. It is speculated to be the Realme GT Neo. The TENAA listing reveals some key specifications on the upcoming smartphone. It will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch curved AMOLED screen with a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner.  The device could be powered by a 4,400mAh dual-cell battery and run Android 11 out of the box. It is expected to support 65W fast charging. 

As per TENAA, the Realme RMX3116 has a rectangular camera on the back panel and a ‘Dare to Leap’ tagline. It will likely come with the same triple camera setup as the Realme GT.
