While the company claimed that the software update will be also coming to other models, it is yet to confirm the exact names of the Realme devices that will be receiving the OS upgrade.

The Realme GT lineup in India includes two models such as the Realme GT 5G flagship phone and the Realme GT Master Edition. The series also includes the GT Master Explorer Edition, which is currently only available in China. The company has no plans to launch the Explorer Edition in India.

Realme will be one of the first brands to rollout the Android 12 stable update for its devices. The GT lineup will be the first Realme phones to receive the upgrade. Other smartphones from the brand will be also provided with the update. The company said that it will soon let users to log into the official community site to apply for the update.

It seems that the users will be first treated with the beta version of the software update, which will help developers to iron out bugs and issues. It is expected to release the stable version later on. At present, nothing much is known about the features of the Realme UI 3.0. It is speculated that the custom UI will be borrowing some features from the ColorOS 12.

In related news, Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone this month in India. The handset will offer specs like a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel triple camera unit, Snapdragon 870 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery and 65W fast charging. The company is also expected to unveil a green version of the Realme Buds Air 2 TWS earbuds.
