Xiaomi has introduced several price hikes for its budget phones in India lately. Realme has been doing the same, with the Realme C3 getting its first price increase after the GST hike on April 1st and a second one just last month. And now, Realme has hiked the price of the affordable phone for the third time.
Apart from the Realme C3, the newly launch Realme Narzo 10A also received price hike in the country. The Narzo 10A and C3 are now more expensive by Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, respectively. The new prices of these smartphones are already reflecting on the official website of Realme and Flipkart.
Realme Narzo 10A and Realme C3 price hiked in India
Realme Narzo 10A (review) was launched in India in May with a price tag of Rs 8,499 for the lone 3GB + 32GB variant. After the recent price hike, the smartphone is now retailing at Rs 8,999. The newly launched 4GB model has not been affected, and will keep retailing for Rs 9,999.
As for the Realme C3, the phone was launched at Rs. 6,999 earlier this year. It received a price hike of Rs 500 each in April and May, and now the price has been increased again by Rs 1,000. The 3GB and 4GB models of the smartphone are now retailing at Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999, respectively.
Realme Narzo 10A and Realme C3 specifications and features
The Realme Narzo 10A features a 6.5-inch waterdrop display bearing HD+ resolution. The screen features 20:9 aspect ratio and 89.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powering the smartphone is a 2GHz Helio G70 chipset, backed by either 3GB or 4GB RAM depending on the variant. In the camera department, the phone offers a triple camera setup with a 12MP f/1.8 primary shooter with a 2MP f/2.4 portrait lens and 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. The waterdrop notch houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include the Android 10-based Realme UI, 5,000mAh battery with reverse charging, fingerprint scanner and more.
The Realme C3 shares its spec sheet with the Narzo 10A, but is misses out on the fingerprint scanner on the back and the macro lens in the rear camera setup.
