Earlier in May this year, Realme had launched its Narzo series of smartphones comprising the Narzo 10 (review) and Narzo 10A (review). Now the brand has unveiled its successors called Narzo 20 and Narzo 20A, which arrive with incremental upgrades over their predecessors.
Realme has also introduced a new variant in the lineup called Narzo 20 Pro. As the name suggests, it is the top-end model in the Narzo 20 series while the Narzo 20 and 20A are budget offerings. The three smartphones will compete against Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 series, the POCO X2 and others.
Realme Narzo 20 Pro specifications and features
Starting with the Narzo 20 Pro, the smartphone sports a punch-hole display measuring 6.5-inches with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate screen. The device features eye protection and the punch-hole light effect that was seen on the Realme 7 series. Design-wise, the Narzo 20 Pro features a V-shaped pattern on the back panel with a rectangular camera module at the top left corner. The smartphone’s power button doubles up as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Narzo 20 Pro’s quad-camera setup comprises a 48MP main sensor paired with a 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP BnW portrait shooter and a 2MP macro unit. Up front, the device offers a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie snapper. The Narzo 20 Pro offers up to 4K video recording at 30fps and comes with various camera modes and features.
Internally, the Narzo 20 Pro houses MediaTek Helio G95 gaming processor and carbon fiber cooling system to keep down the temperature. The smartphone packs up to 8GB RAM and offers up to 128GB internal storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Narzo 20 Pro draws its power from a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 65W SuperDart charging via USB-C port. The smartphone runs on the brand’s proprietary Realme UI based on Android 10.
Realme Narzo 20 and Narzo 20A specifications and features
The Realme Narzo 20 and 20A retain 6.5-inch displays with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch from their predecessors. Both devices feature a V-shaped design similar to the Narzo 20 Pro. The Narzo 20 houses a square-shaped camera module while the 20A has the same vertically stacked setup as the Narzo 10. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on both smartphones.
The Narzo 20 and 20A sport triple rear cameras with the setup on former consisting of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro unit. On the other hand, the Narzo 20A offers 12MP primary camera, 2MP BnW and a 2MP retro lens. Both smartphones come with an 8MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Narzo 20 and Narzo 20A are powered by MediaTek Helio G85 and Snapdragon 665 AIE processors respectively. The former packs 4GB RAM and is offered in 64GB and 128GB storage options while the latter can be availed in two configurations up to 4GB and 64GB. Both smartphones come with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage up to 256GB.
The Narzo 20 is backed by a 6,000mAh battery unit which is more than its predecessor. The Narzo 20A runs on the same 5,000mAh battery as the Narzo 10. The latest offerings run on Android 10 with Realme UI on the top.
Realme Narzo 20 Pro, Narzo 20 and Narzo 20A price in India
The Realme Narzo 20 Pro’s base variant i.e. 6GB + 64GB is priced at Rs 14,999 while the higher 8GB + 128GB option retails at Rs 16,999. The Narzo 20’s 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB configurations carry a price tag of Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,499 respectively. The Narzo 20A costs Rs 8,499 for the 3GB + 32GB model and Rs 9,499 for 4GB + 64GB variant.
The Narzo 20 and 20A is offered in Glory Silver and Victory Blue colour options while the Pro variant can be availed in White Knight and Black Ninja colours. The Narzo 20 series can be purchased on Realme.com, Flipkart and retail stores. The Pro variant will go on sale from September 25th while the Narzo 20 and 20A will be available for purchase starting September 28th and September 30th respectively.
