Realme Narzo 20 series confirmed at IFA 2020, launch expected soon

Realme held its press conference at IFA 2020 today. While the brand didn’t officially launch any products at the event, it has announced the launch timeline for several devices, including the next-generation Narzo 20 series. The lineup will come as the successor to the Realme Narzo 10 (review) series that was launched in May this year.

Apart from the Narzo 20 series, Realme also announced the Realme Watch S Pro, Buds Wireless Pro and Buds Air Pro earphones at the event. Realme also teased several AIotT products at the same event including a security camera, smart bulb and more. Realme has announced that the company will launch over 50 AIoT products this year and more than 100 next year.

Realme’s Narzo 20 series will be launched soon

At the event, Realme announced that the upcoming Narzo 20 series will be launched in the coming months. However, the brand simply confirmed that the new smartphones are coming without revealing any other details. Prior to this, the popular tipster Mukul Sharma had revealed that the upcoming Narzo 20 series will comprise Narzo 20 and Narzo 20 Pro. Notably, the first-generation Narzo devices were called the Narzo 10A (review) and Narzo 10.

Realme also confirmed that the Realme V5 and Realme X7 series will be introduced globally in Q4 2020.

Realme Watch S Pro, Buds Air Pro, and Buds Wireless Pro earphones announced

At the event, Realme confirmed the launch of the Watch S Pro in coming months. The smartwatch will feature a round dial with an AMOLED display. In the image shown during the event, the watch was seen sporting silicone straps and two physical buttons. An icon on the display confirms the presence of a heart rate monitor as well.

Apart from the watch, Realme also announced a pair of Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) earphones called the Buds Wireless Pro ANC neckband earphones and Buds Air Pro ANC TWS earphones. As their names suggest, the former will be a neckband style accessory, whereas the latter will be true wireless earbuds. No other details have been revealed except that all three devices will be launched globally in Q4 of 2020.

Realme AIoT product line-up revealed

Apart from the Narzo 20 series, smartwatch and ANC earphones, Realme has also showcased its line-up of IoT devices. There is a Realme Smart Cam 360°, which offers FHD video recording, 3D noise cancelling, IR night vision, AI motion detection, real-time alert, two-way voice talk and 128GB storage, to name a few.

The company has also announced a Realme Smart Bulb with 16 million colours, 1700K-6500K colour temperature, flame-retardant material, wide voltage and surge protection, and up to 13 years of lifespan. Realme has revealed that the upcoming 55-inch smart TV will feature a 108 percent NTSC colour gamut and also revealed its design.
