The official community post states that there are a lot of 10W chargers around us, but we don’t bother to use them. Removing the charger from Narzo 50A Prime’s retail package is the company’s move towards a more sustainable environment. The post also says that other Realme and Narzo products will continue to offer chargers in the box. However, there is a possibility that some of the forthcoming Realme products may come without a charger.
“Realme commits to reducing our GT series smartphones’ carbon emissions by 50% in five years by reducing complete life-cycle carbon footprints. We will bring more sustainable and eco-friendly designs for our users with advanced technology. Apart from eco-friendly design collections, we take a big step toward a better world with a ‘Double Zero’ goal—net-zero carbons emissions in corporate operation and zero waste to landfills by 2025,” said Realme CEO Madhav Sheth in a recent interview with India CSR.
