Realme debuted its Q series of smartphones in its home country in October this year. The lineup includes three devices i.e Realme Q2, Q2i and Q2 Pro. Now, the standard variant has been reportedly spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with model number RMX2117.
The listing was first shared by tipster Mukul Sharma aka @Stufflistings on Twitter. It doesn’t reveal any key specifications but hints at the imminent arrival of the smartphone in India. It’s worth noting that Realme hasn’t revealed anything officially about the Realme Q2 for the Indian market yet.

The Realme Q2 was released in the UK as Realme 7 5G, so it’s possible that the device could launch in India with a different moniker. In other news, Realme is tipped to launch the Realme X7 series and Narzo 30 series of smartphones next month in India. We expect more information to crop up about the Realme Q2 in the coming weeks.
Realme Q2 specifications and pricing
The Realme Q2 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate screen. It features a punch-hole camera cutout and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the optics front, the Realme Q2’s rectangular camera setup on the back comprises of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro unit. Upfront, the device has a 16MP selfie snapper.
Internally, the Realme Q2 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset with support for 5G connectivity. It is offered in 4GB and 6GB RAM configurations with both offering 128GB native storage. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 30W fast charging.
The Realme Q2 base variant cost RMB 1,299 (~Rs 14,600) while the 6GB + 128GB option retails at RMB 1,399 (Rs 15,800) in China.
