Realme Q3, Realme Q3 Pro and Realme Q3i launched: price, specifications

The Realme Q3, Realme Q3 Pro, and Realme Q3i smartphones have launched in China. These phones have arrived as the successor to last year’s Realme Q2, Q2i, and Q2 Pro smartphones.

The Realme Q3i has arrived as the most affordable 5G phone in China, whereas the Realme Q3 is a mid-range phone driven by a Snapdragon 7-series chipset. The Q3 Pro is an upper mid-range phone that features a powerful Dimensity chip. The major highlights of the Q3 series include high refresh rate displays, large batteries with fast charging support, and impressive cameras.

The Realme Q3 has a 120Hz LCD display and Snapdragon 750G

The Realme Q3 and Realme Q3i are equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. Both phones support a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness. While the Realme Q3i features a 90Hz refresh rate, the Realme Q3 gets a 120Hz panel.

The Realme Q3 has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The Q3 Pro’s rear camera setup has a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The Realme Q3i features the same rear camera setup, and it has a front camera of 8-megapixel.

The Realme Q3i has a 120Hz LCD screen and Dimensity 700 SoC

The Realme Q3 is powered by the Snapdragon 750G chipset and 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. On the other hand, the Realme Q3i is fuelled by the Dimensity 700 chipset and 4GB / 6GB of RAM. The Q3 and Q3i offer 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Both phones are backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The Q3 supports a 30W fast charging, while the Q3i offers 18W charging. Both phones are equipped with a side-facing fingerprint reader.

The Realme Q3 Pro has arrived with a 120Hz AMOLED screen and Dimensity 1100 chipset

The Realme Q3 Pro has a smaller 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Realme Q3 Pro has a selfie camera of 16-megaixel. Its rear-facing triple camera unit has a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Dimensity 1100 chipset along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM fuels the Realme Q3 Pro. The device offers 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage options. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.  Rumors suggest that this phone will be rebadged as the Realme 8 Pro 5G in markets outside China.

The Realme Q3 series runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The other features offered by the Q3 lineup include dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6 (Pro model), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack (not available on the Q3 Pro).

Realme Q3, Q3 Pro, and Q3i pricing and availability

The Realme Q3i comes in two variant such as 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. They are priced at RMB 1,099 (~Rs 12,700) and RMB 1,199 (~Rs 13,900), respectively, and it comes in colours like Light Blue and Particle Ash. The Realme Q3 variants like 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage are priced at RMB 1,299 (~Rs 15,000) and RMB 1,399 (~Rs 16,200). It comes in colours like Sci-Fi Black and Psychedelic Silver.

The Q3 Pro models such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage are priced at RMB 1,799 (~Rs 20,800) and RMB 1,999 (~Rs 23,100), respectively. Its colour variants are Gravity Black, Electric Blue, and Firefly Yellow.
