There is no word on the launch date of the Race smartphone yet. Realme announced the Realme X50 Pro 5G in February this year in India. Hence, there is a possibility that the Race flagship may debut in Q1 next year. Commenting on the Race handset, Realme CEO and Vice President Madhav Sheth said “This is a milestone both for Realme and our users. Realme is working towards being a democratizer of next-gen 5G technology unlocking the potential of 5G to deliver exciting new experiences for consumers globally. We are proud to be among the first smartphone manufacturers to come equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. With this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to bring more 5G devices in India in 2021.”

At present, Realme is selling Q, V, and X series of smartphones in China. A reliable tipster from China had claimed a few months back that OPPO has transferred its Ace lineup to Realme. Hence, there is a possibility that the RMX2022 phone may arrive with Ace branding in its home market.

In his recent leaks, the tipster revealed that the Realme Ace will be sporting a thin design, a punch-hole screen, and it will carry support for superfast charging. He added that all the upcoming Realme phones arriving in the first half of the year will have punch-hole displays and it will be launching phones with under-screen camera in the second half of 2021.
