Realme 7, Realme Realme 6 Pro, X2 Pro and Narzo 20 Pro get Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 via early access program


  • Realme UI 2.0 early access is now available for Realme 6 Pro, 7, X2 Pro, and Narzo 20 Pro
  • It is only available to users who have enrolled to Realme’s early access program
  • The update is based on Android 11

Back in September, Realme announced the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. At that time, the company had claimed that it will be offering early access to Realme UI 2.0 for a handful of smartphones by the end of the year. As promised, the upgrade is now available for smartphones such as Realme 6 Pro (review), Realme 7 (review), Realme X2 Pro (review), and Realme Narzo 20 Pro through the early access program.

Realme confirmed the arrival of the Realme UI 2.0 update to the users of the above-mentioned devices through the Realme Community. To try latest Realme UI version, users need to enrol themselves in the early access program.

Users need to apply for an early access program through the Software Update application. This can be done by:

  1. Go to Settings > Software Update
  2. Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner
  3. Select Trial Version
  4. Submit your details
  5. Hit Apply Now
  6. Done! You should get the update soon after submitting the application

Things to know before updating to Realme UI 2.0 early access program

The early access program invites Realme users to try the latest Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS for the first time. To enrol for the upgrade program, users should ensure that their devices are not rooted. Users are also required to carry out backup of personal data to prevent data loss.

There are chances that some of the third-party apps may crash or may not be available after the update. Hence, it is recommended to update to the latest versions of all apps before upgrading.  To make sure that there is no failure during the updating process due to lack of storage, devices should have at least 5GB of free storage.

If users encounter any issue or bug while using the early access edition of Realme UI 2.0, they can fill the provided form to submit a bug. The bug report forms for Realme 6 Pro, Realme 7, Realme X2 Pro, and Narzo 20 Pro can be found on Realme community.
