Realme Watch S with SpO2 sensor and 15-day battery life announced, India launch expected soon

At an event held in Pakistan today, Realme has announced its second smartwatch after the budget Realme Watch. The latest offering is called the Realme Watch S. Prior to launch, the brand had revealed a few key specifications of the device.

As per Realme’s announcement at IFA Berlin, the brand is also expected to announce a Pro variant of the latest Realme Watch S soon. The Realme Watch S competes against the likes of Amazfit GTS, Honor Watch ES, Mi Watch Revolve (review) in the smartwatch market. 

Realme Watch S specifications and features

The Realme Watch S comes with a 46mm circular dial and two buttons on the right side. It features a 1.3-inch display with an auto-brightness adjustment setting and over 100 watch faces. The wearable device is IP68 certified water and dust resistant. 

As for health-centric features, the Realme Watch S is equipped with a 24×7 heart rate monitor. It also comes with an SpO2 sensor to monitor oxygen levels in the blood. The smartwatch offers 16 sports modes including outdoor run, walk, indoor run, outdoor cycle, aerobics, strength training, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, indoor cycle, elliptical, yoga, and cricket. The Realme Watch S also features sleep tracker, drink water reminder, meditation and idle alerts. 

The Realme Watch S is powered by a 390mAh battery unit that is rated to offer 15-days of usage. It can be topped up via magnetic charging. The device supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The smartwatch offers convenient features like notifications, music control, find your phone, weather forecast, smartphone camera control, safe unlock etc. 

Realme Watch S pricing and availability

The Realme Watch S is priced at PKR 14,999 (~Rs 7,000). It is offered in Black, Orange and Green colour options. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed the launch of the latest Realme Watch S as well as the Watch S Pro in India, but there’s no word on the launch date yet.
